GenH2 is not only a sponsor at this year’s event, but they also have a company team of 18 that will be participating in the race as well. The Space Race is back in 2022 at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex! Benefiting United Way of Brevard, the Space Race is a 3K (1.86 mile) course throughout the visitor complex and registration is now open! Run or walk throughout the course, and enjoy a view of the historic Rocket Garden, the full-sized booster stack at the entrance of Space Shuttle Atlantis® and the Mercury 7 mural on Heroes & Legends featuring the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame® presented by Boeing®.
Timing and scoring is chip-determined by the Running Zone. The top men and women will be scored by age groups. Want to meet an astronaut? Winners in each category will receive their award from a veteran NASA astronaut. After the completion of the race, celebrate your accomplishment at the after party in the Rocket Garden.
